We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Hawkdun Lodge in Ranfurly! The owner was so welcoming and took the time to show us to our room, which was modern, comfortable, and quiet. We also had access to the spa room, which was a lovely bonus. The facilities were top-notch, including the free wifi and delicious breakfast in the guest lounge. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Central Otago. we highly recommend this fantastic lodge for a luxurious and enjoyable experience.

Had a decent Xmas at this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The communal cooking area was well-equipped and we were able to cook and eat in the bedroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating. the storage for our bikes was convenient. The central location was great, in easy walking distance to shops.
The restaurant options in the town were limited and not welcoming. , there was only a microwave in the room which was inconvenient for us.

Nice room and great location for exploring the Otago region. Room had a microwave and a kettle which was useful, and the bed was comfortable. Located in a quiet area so you can get a good night's sleep.
The kitchen was poorly equipped with hardly any utensils, making cooking quite difficult. the town itself had limited dining options, so definitely bring your own food.

This lodge is located in stunning surroundings, perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in nature. the room had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. the friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome. the luxury facilities, such as the spa room, provide an added bonus.
The lack of variety in breakfast options.
